Within, the students deal with themselves, with one another, and with the prospect of a looming war that's waiting just outside, as soon as they graduate. There's love. There's hate. There's loyalty. There's betrayal. Muggle high school's a bitch and Hogwarts is no different.

Severus Snape | Slytherin | Sixth | Half-blood | Open Severus Snape could never be credited with gentleness nor any sort of general niceness; however, he prided himself on being cool-headed and intelligent. He supposed his resentment toward most people was a trait he inherited from his father; well, that and his nose. For the rest, he was like his mother; quiet and bound to make all the wrong choices. Over the past few years, he had done just that; he had lost the girl he loved, fallen in with Death Eaters, and even preformed Unforgivable Curses on his own father. Of course, after years of abuse from Tobias, it was bound to happen, but he still felt a shred of guilt over it. He tries not to focus on the fact that his life is crashing around him though, spending hours in the library studying, or in his dorms experimenting with Potions. Sometimes certain people force him to open his mouth, which he usually regrets, which is why he prefers to keep it closed. Marlene McKinnon | Gryffindor | Sixth | Pureblood | Open Proud and content are good words to describe Marlene. And yet his cousins all portray similar tendencies in being centers of attention, andstill Regulus, while favored to his parents after his brother’s one-man rebellion, remains sufficiently underwhelming when measured up to the bars set by his family. For much of his life, and likely for what is left of it, Regulus supposes he’ll be doing what he is told, unless someone important tells him otherwise. Lucius Malfoy | Slytherin | Sixth | Pureblood | Open Lucius Malfoy is the only child and sole heir to the Malfoy family. His blood is as pure as his name. He comes from a long, endless line of Slytherins, and has been taught the severity and importance of blood purity since he could understand words. Even when a young eleven year old, he followed in the foot steps of those before him, and was sorted into Slytherin, making his father - Abraxas Malfoy - very proud. Lucius is the epitome of a Slytherin, oozing the traits that make his house the best house. He’s as cunning as can be, easily able to manipulate those around him to achieve his means and still keep himself in the good graces of those who matter. He’s known for his arrogant attitude and prejudiced values, much like many of those he deems friends. He’s scornful to all that isn’t magic and could care less about the non-wizarding world. He does not tolerate any sort of disrespect and will be all too glad to put someone into their place without so much as a warning. His hatred for mudbloods runs deep through his veins, and now that this Dark Lord is on the rise, he’s more than just simply interested in joining the man’s ranks. Lucius knows that there is war looming on the horizon, and he wants to be on the winning side. His parents have hinted at a possible future with the youngest girl in the House of Black: Narcissa Black. Lucius sees her as a silly little thing, so slim in size and not at all suitable for his tastes. At least, that’s what he says to his friends. To Lucius, there is a certain something about that seemingly pious smile and those icy blue eyes that just gets him. He’s the quieter one, the sort to watch the action unfold and calculate where exactly he’ll be if he does something, a big fan of staying in the better light and not having any blood on his hands (though, he will get down and dirty if he feels the need to.) Demetrius won’t be found in the midst of an idiotic duel, preferring to spend his time terrorising the younger crowd in order to get where and what he wants. Rabastan Lestrange | Slytherin | Sixth | Pureblood | Open Rabastan Lestrange is the younger brother to Rodolphus Lestrange and that in itself is enough to try and live up to. Constantly overlooked by an absent father and with his older brother’s reputation preceding him in school, Rabastan is hell-bent on creating a name for himself- one that his father would be proud of. He is always half a step behind ‘that mudblood Evans’ and ‘that half-breed Lupin’ and has long since given up on becoming academically superior to Rodolphus. Instead he had developed a more sadistic approach by surrounding his name in fear; Rabastan gets no greater thrill than when he is causing pain to others. He focuses on younger students- usually fourth or fifth years, but his sights have been settling on bigger ‘prey’ as of late. To set himself apart in his father’s eyes, he knows he’s going to have to really make a mark. Personality wise, Rabastan and Rodolphus are complete polar opposites. Whereas Rodolphus is more refined as any heir to a pureblood legacy should be, Rabastan is crass. He lacks a filter- what he thinks is what he says and there’s no pause between the two. Evan Rosier is his partner-in-crime. The two normally frequent the same detention hall and would more often if it were not for Judulla Yaxley, the voice of reason within the group. He, to the benefit of mankind, was born in 1960 to a wealthy family. He grew up spoiled rotten, being the only son, of the less-than-strict family regime under Charlus Potter, married to the beautiful Dorea Black. It took a number of years to conceive their first born (Charlus was relieved) son, and he grew up without any siblings, though often mingled with other Pureblood children. The Potters, unlike the Blacks, have always believed and rooted for mugglekind’s entrance to pureblood society, believing it would benefit wizards. We’d prefer the OCs be in either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, and they must be well developed, making sense is crucial, obviously. Children from Beauxbatons or Durmstrang can be made as well.

Tanvi Haryana | Gryffindor | Fifth | Muggleborn | Closed A quiet and somewhat studious student whose true Gryffindor colours shine through when passionate about things she cares for. She isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes in, be it equal rights for all creatures or simply better lunches. Tanvi has grown up next to her twin Tatini, who was always one to command attention. Tanvi didn’t mind, but now, she’s starting to. Tanvi is striving to be a bit more outgoing, to get her nose out of the books long enough to maybe capture the attention of a certain Ravenclaw boy she’s been crushing on since her forth year - Salim Patil. The flirting between them does nothing for her little fluttering heart. She’s lovesick. Tanvi’s best subject is Divination and one of her best friends, Sybill Trelawney (a Ravenclaw two years ahead of her,) has the sight. A quiet and somewhat studious student whose true Gryffindor colours shine through when passionate about things she cares for. She isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes in, be it equal rights for all creatures or simply better lunches. Tanvi has grown up next to her twin Tatini, who was always one to command attention. Tanvi didn’t mind, but now, she’s starting to.
