Severus Snape | Slytherin | Sixth | Half-blood | Open Severus Snape could never be credited with gentleness nor any sort of general niceness; however, he prided himself on being cool-headed and intelligent. He supposed his resentment toward most people was a trait he inherited from his father; well, that and his nose. For the rest, he was like his mother; quiet and bound to make all the wrong choices. Over the past few years, he had done just that; he had lost the girl he loved, fallen in with Death Eaters, and even preformed Unforgivable Curses on his own father. Of course, after years of abuse from Tobias, it was bound to happen, but he still felt a shred of guilt over it. He tries not to focus on the fact that his life is crashing around him though, spending hours in the library studying, or in his dorms experimenting with Potions. Sometimes certain people force him to open his mouth, which he usually regrets, which is why he prefers to keep it closed. ROLE REOPENED Molly Prewett | Gryffindor | Seventh | Closed Molly is a woman of the seventies. Her father walked out on her family when she was a little girl and seeing the detrimental effect it had on her mother as she grew up, Molly promised herself she would never let another person have that much power over her. Molly is incredibly maternal towards her brothers and her group of friends and is less than tolerant of any bullying towards them or anyone for that matter. Except towards Slytherins because, let’s face it, Slytherins aren’t real people. Molly has wanted to be a Healer since she was 5 and has been working on top marks since her fifth year. She is constantly competing against Bellatrix for top of the class, but seems to be stuck forever in second. Then there’s the matter of Arthur Weasley. Molly and he have been friends for years and sure, she’s mildly attracted to him- why else would she snog him from time to time? She just doesn’t see any reason to change that. Narcissa Black | Slytherin | Fifth | Pureblood | Closed Often depicted as the golden daughter of the Black family, Narcissa is all that a pureblood woman aspires to be. She projects herself as a figure of chastity and purity, beautiful and holier-than-thou. Although in comparison to her eldest sister Bellatrix she could be considered kind, she has no tolerance towards those that are pure filth and not of the same caliber as she. She’s cold and often gets referred to as an ice queen by those who don’t particularly know her. But, that’s just Narcissa and frankly, she couldn’t care less what those miscreants are speaking of. Narcissa looks up to her elder sisters, seeing them as pillars of strength. They bring out the more manipulative side of Narcissa, the part that does whatever it takes to get what she wants, be it a higher grade on some sort of assignment or just a seat closer to the fire in the Common Room. She’s charming to the boys and easily has many of them putty in her hand with a flip of her hair. Even so, her sisters warn her over and over about losing her virginity before her marriage. She’ll be worthless. Because her sisters are the most important things in her life, she doesn’t mind when Bellatrix babies her or orders her about (it’s never anything profound, mainly just brushing her hair every night.) Narcissa adores Bellatrix with all her heart and would never, ever do anything to hurt her. That is all the love she knows, being that Druella and Cygnus never show their presence in the lives of their daughters unless it’s for their wedding prospects. She hasn’t told a soul, and she doesn’t plan to tell, that she wants from her life. Narcissa wants to do more than just be the perfect pureblooded wife that spouts out golden babes that look like her. Babes as fair as the morning with hair as pale as bones. Babes like marionettes. She, like the Dorcas Meadowes that could so easily go after that goal, wants to be come Minister for Magic. This secret is confined to her diary and she’d never dare let anyone find that out. But, when it comes to her future, the one that she’s sure is going to happen, things get complicated where they shouldn’t. She isn’t all too fond of the idea of that Lucius Malfoy being married to her, but, it’s been talked of. Druella’s mentioned it more than once and it’s a large possibility that she partly isn’t looking forward to. If she had the courage to stand up to the likes of the neglectful and abusive Druella Black and tell her— A Black for Minister! Imagine it! Then maybe, things could go her way. His father works in the Ministry of Magic and has already lined Broderick up with a job after he graduates, something he isn’t looking forward to all that much. Constantly overlooked by an absent father and with his older brother’s reputation preceding him in school, Rabastan is hell-bent on creating a name for himself- one that his father would be proud of. He is always half a step behind ‘that mudblood Evans’ and ‘that half-breed Lupin’ and has long since given up on becoming academically superior to Rodolphus. Instead he had developed a more sadistic approach by surrounding his name in fear; Rabastan gets no greater thrill than when he is causing pain to others. He focuses on younger students- usually fourth or fifth years, but his sights have been settling on bigger ‘prey’ as of late. To set himself apart in his father’s eyes, he knows he’s going to have to really make a mark. Personality wise, Rabastan and Rodolphus are complete polar opposites. Tanvi Haryana | Gryffindor | Fifth | Muggleborn | Closed A quiet and somewhat studious student whose true Gryffindor colours shine through when passionate about things she cares for. She isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes in, be it equal rights for all creatures or simply better lunches. Tanvi has grown up next to her twin Tatini, who was always one to command attention. Tanvi didn’t mind, but now, she’s starting to. She isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes in, be it equal rights for all creatures or simply better lunches. Tanvi has grown up next to her twin Tatini, who was always one to command attention. Tanvi didn’t mind, but now, she’s starting to. Tatini Haryana | Gryffindor | Fifth | Muggleborn | Open Growing up with Tanvi being the golden daughter of the Haryana family was a bit of a problem with Tatini. She was more rambunctious than her twin sister, preferring to laze about and do her assignments at last minute rather than plan out her thoughts and map out her plan of ‘attack’ as Tanvi usually does.  The twins, at times, do clash, as siblings always do, but together they are quite the pair. Tatini is an alternate chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, crushing on Rambert Bell, a boy who tries to get the attention of a girl older than he, Leisl Von Buren. But that doesn’t deter Tatini. If anything, this Haryana twin is willing to do what need to be done in order to get what she wants- whether that’s a spot as a first-string Chaser or Rambert’s attention.
