Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Inverness, Scotland, United Kingdom.

It's the 1970s.

Outside of Hogwarts' stone walls there is danger and death. Within, the students deal with themselves, with one another, and with the prospect of a looming war that's waiting just outside, as soon as they graduate. There's love. There's hate. There's loyalty. There's betrayal. Muggle high school's a bitch and Hogwarts is no different.

Welcome to Magic & Mischief.

Quick Bio:

Before Hogwarts, Reginald was constantly teased about his… well, his everything: his appearance, his actions, and his full name. Reginald hated being cursed with a name like his. After learning about his magic, Reginald thought that if he showed kids at his school he wouldn’t seem so… odd anymore. He was wrong, of course, and the kids taunted and teased him even more than before. When Reginald finally reached eleven years he packed his things and begged his parents to let him go to Hogwarts. He didn’t want to be Reginald Cattermole, the freaky kid. He wanted to change everything about himself. So he did. Now a seventh year, Reg barely remembers who he used to be.

It all happened so fast; Buzz didn’t even have time to process it. One moment, Locksley was in front of him, her normal, regular size and then the next moment, she was six inches tall and surrounded by the shadow of his feet. “Locksley?” He gulped, kneeling next to her. “Jesus.” He murmured, reaching out to her. “So, it really works.” He said, more to himself. “The magic.” He stood abruptly, glancing around the room. “Can you believe this?” He laughed, grinning madly. “Locksley, your freaking tiny!” He scooped her in his hands and set her down carefully on the book she’d been looking through not too long ago. “This is unbelievable!” He’d known about the magic at DA for sometime now, but he hadn’t actually believed in it until he’d seen it. Maybe believed is the wrong word, more along the lines of… understood. He thought about Rae’s magic hair. “Healing.” He shook his head, looking back at Locksley. “Well, I guess we have to get you back to your regular size.” He sighed, turning around to find the box with the other vile still tucked inside. “Let’s see… where did I… hm.” He looked around, beginning to panic. “Um, your not gonna believe this…” He grinned sheepishly. “It appears that I have momentarily misplaced the box with the other vile inside.” He mumbled lowly. He’d just put it down right next to him on one of the boxes! Where could it have gone? “One second, I’ll look for it again.”

After ten minutes of scoping the entire place, Buzz came up with nothing. “They couldn’t have just walked off!” He snapped, getting irritated. He picked up a box to check underneath it. “Gah!” He through it down, a loud ‘thunk’ came from the action. “I dunno, Lock.” He shrugged, “We might be here for a while looking.” He looked over the sea of old furniture and boxes. “A long while.” He groaned, running his hands through his hair. He sat down for a few moments, muttering Spanish curses under his breath while he racked his brain. “Hijo de puta.” He cried out, giving up. “Just… fuck it.” His shoulders dropped. He stood and made his way back to Locksley. “I’m so sorry.” He mumbled, feeling incredibly guilty. “I swore I put it right ove-“ He stared at the spot on the table. “No flipping way.” He whispered. There was the box of viles, right where he’d left it. “But… it was gone!” His head jerked toward her, “Did you do anything? Did you see anything?” His head hurt from all the confusion. He took the box in his hands, fingers fumbling to open it. The other vile rest inside. “How…?” He looked up at Locksley again. “This is either really creepy, or really cool.” He decided, blinking several times from shock. “For a treasure hunter, I suck at finding things.” He smirked dryly, shaking his head. He was just about to give her the other vile, when he thought of an idea. “Hey…” Buzz began, “Imagine what we could do with this opportunity.” He closed the box, but kept it in his hands; afraid he’d lose it again. “We could… sneak into classrooms… sneak into dorms… do some major eavesdropping…” He counted off on his fingers with his empty hand. “We could travel through the air vents!” He exclaimed, thinking up a plan. “Discover even more stuff. You know, I bet there might even be some sort of invisibility potion or something in here!” He looked back the necklace he’d picked up a while ago. “When you get back to full size, “ He gestured towards the item, “Maybe you should try it on.” He suggested. “Maybe it could be useful, somehow.” He wasn’t really making sense to himself, but was too excited to care.
