Proud and content are good words to describe Marlene. The girl does what she wants when she sees fit for the most part, happy to let her combat boots track mud into the common room all over the stray parchments left over the floor. (It’s the second years’ faults for leaving out their assignments anyhow.) Hogwarts has only convinced her that she truly does take no orders from anyone, and that if she wants something done, what better candidate to do it than herself? She’s one who takes little from words but miles from actions, and acts just as such. The position of Beater on the Quidditch team is fitting, and a great way to vent. Marlene asserts there will never be a better way to work out her frustrations than going out on the pitch and hitting some balls into some Slytherins. Family wise, though the girl is proud of her family and would never renounce them, the pressure of living in a family full of Great Wizards is sometimes draining, and living with the Great Wizards, all head strong and with the similarity that they are always right can be just as bad.
